My name is Dinesh Kumawat.
What type of cancer do you currently have?
Currently, it has been diagnosed as lymphoma.
How long ago did you find out about this?
I suspected it about three to four months ago, then I got an FNAC test done at the hospital, which confirmed that it is indeed cancer.
Where all have you received treatment from so far?
So far, it has only been from here (MB Hospital).
What treatments are you undergoing right now?
Right now, only chemotherapy is going on.
At what intervals is the treatment given?
It is administered every fifteen days.
Do you pay for the treatment out of your own pocket, or is it funded by the government?
The entire cost is covered by the government through the Ayushman Arogya Yojana.
When you found out that you have cancer, you must have felt anxious. Did the doctor's support help you feel any better?
It feels as though I am completely fine right now.
Would you like to give any advice to those who have just received the news that they have cancer?
Just that all tests should be done on time, and treatment should be started without any delay. If you delay too much, the cancer will spread further.
