This is my wife, Poonam Shrimali.

She has a brain tumor.
How long ago did you find out about this?
We found out in June 2024, it has been two years now. The treatment has been going on since then.
How did you find out about this?
Her hand used to shake multiple times a day, and she also experienced seizure-like jerks. Then we got tests done.
What treatments are going on right now?
The chemos are done, the operation was also completed, and medication has been going on for the last two years.
Where all has her treatment been done so far?
So far, it has only been from here (MB Hospital).
At what intervals is the treatment given?
Chemotherapy happens every twenty-first day.
Do you pay for the treatment out of your own pocket, or is it funded by the government?
When the operation was done, everything came out of our own pocket. Now, the government pays all the money for the treatment. The government pays through the Ayushman Yojana that runs in Rajasthan.
When you found out that she has cancer, you must have felt anxious. Did she and the family feel any better with the doctor's support?
We are much better than before, currently we are not facing any such trouble.

Look, the most important thing is self-confidence, what we call self-confidence. There is a treatment for this thing, one just must not lose courage. My wife has a lot of confidence, and it is because of that she has been able to reach this point.
